Poison: Morwenna Catt


All toys earn scars from children’s careless love, but these bunnies tell stories of more purposeful abuse. Provoking adult empathy Catt’s Tim Burton esque stuffed toys are explained in her ‘Poison’ series of acrylic and hand stitched canvases.

Morwenna Catt was a prize-winner of the recent Flesh exhibition held at the Yorkshire Craft Gallery. Late opening night Friday 17 April.

Burnett & Catt - Recycled Costume Commission




Burnett & Catt: Finished Recycled Costume commission. 'Powdered Wig' made of recycled knits. The dress, cuffs and fans are recycled polythene bags, sweet wrappers, soft toys and other assorted rubbish, embroidered and stitched.
